Cataract Surgery

One of the most debilitating conditions in rural areas is blindness caused by cataracts which can be easily solved by a simple operation that takes less than an hour. Hope Outreach negotiated the use of a private hospital and worked with a team of visiting UK surgeons to perform cataract operations on elderly people giving them back their sight and the ability to remain productive in their community rather than a burden.
