Surviving the Pandemic - Melody's Story

Melody is a self-employed actor working with the NHS, Police and Army. She provides valuable training to ensure a better experience for the public.

In March 2020, when lockdown was announced, Melody lost all her work and found she was not eligible for any financial support from the government. She was, simply, abandoned to poverty.

This film explores the challenges Melody experienced for over a year and uncovers legislation introduced by the government in 2000 that engineered her exemption from financial support. It highlights the enormous rift between the public and politicians.
